Bob Kresek received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of the College of Financial Planning's CFP Professional Education Program. He holds the CFP® certification granted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Investment Management Consultants Association, which has awarded him their Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC®) designation. Bob has served as a Vice President of two high-technology start-ups and held senior management positions with Hewlett-Packard Company. Bob is a Los Altos Community Foundation Founder and is a Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. He is also a member of The American Institute of Wine & Food and with his wife, Susan, is the owner of Golden Knoll Vineyards.

     
Bob Campbell received a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, a Masters Degree in Chemistry from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has also completed the University of California, Santa Cruz, Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant in California and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification granted by the CFP Board. Before entering the financial services industry, he held senior financial management positions with several Silicon Valley high technology companies, most recently as the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded computer peripherals company. Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.

     
  Edward Cho received a Bachelors Degree from University of California at Berkeley and a Masters Degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He has completed the University of California, Santa Cruz, Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board in 2004. In addition, he is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative, and is licensed in California for Federal and State Personal Income Tax Preparation. Edward has over 20 years of financial services industry experience with global investment banks in the United States, Europe and Asia. A husband and a father of two, Edward enjoys spending free time with the family, snow skiing, and coaching AYSO soccer. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

     
  Jovita Honor received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Real Estate from University of California, Berkeley, Walter Haas School of Business in 1992. Jovita is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation. She is an Enrolled Agent (EA), federally-licensed to prepare tax returns and represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Jovita is also a National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) Registered Financial Advisor. Prior to joining Founders, Jovita was a principal at Prialta Advisors and worked in related areas of the financial services industry including as a hedge fund accountant at investment bank Robertson, Stephens & Company, a trust accountant and pension administrator with pension consulting firm Lawrence Johnson & Associates, and as a mortgage underwriter.  Jovita has over 14 years’ experience providing personal financial advice and counseling to families and individuals in the Bay Area.  Jovita is deeply involved in her community serving on the Board of the Junior League of Palo Alto Mid Peninsula and Vintage Affaire.

     
  A native of Connecticut, Dan Taylor received a Bachelors Degree in Engineering with high honors from Princeton University, and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. Dan completed the University of California, Santa Cruz, Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning, and holds the CFP® certification granted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Dan had a 20-year career in high technology including senior management positions at Apple Computer, Oracle Corporation, and two start-ups. An Eagle Scout, Dan currently serves on the Executive Board of the Pacific Skyline Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Dan is also serving on the Planned Giving Council of the Pathways Hospice Foundation. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Silicon Valley, the Financial Planning Forum, and the San Carlos Rotary Club. Dan and his wife Carol live in San Carlos with their four children.

     
Hal Thomas received a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. He has completed the University of California, Santa Cruz, Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning and holds the CFP® certification granted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative, and is licensed in California for Federal and State Personal Income Tax Preparation. A member of the Financial Planning Association, Hal was initially involved in the financial services industry as a securities Registered Representative and Licensed Insurance Agent in the late 1970s and re-entered the business after 20 years in the electronics industry, most recently as Director of Client Satisfaction and Quality Assurance for the personal computer division of a Fortune 500 company.

     
  Amy Pearl received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Mills College, a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, and has completed the University of California, Santa Cruz Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning. Before entering the financial services industry, she held senior management positions with several Silicon Valley high technology companies, most recently as a Director of Engineering of a publicly traded computer company. She holds several technology patents. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative. With a strong commitment to the democratic process, Amy has been active for many years in voting technology and the election process and is the Vice Chair of Santa Clara County's Citizens Advisory Commission on Elections. Amy, her husband Skip, and their family enjoy water skiing, travel, theatre, and nature.

     
  Kent Madsen received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He completed the Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program at the University of California, Santa Cruz and obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board in 2008. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Before entering the financial services industry, Kent was a senior Information Technology professional, most recently at Sun Microsystems. Kent is a board member at his church and, with his wife Chris, leads a non-profit organization that supports a developing community in El Salvador in the areas of education and health.

     
  Sonja Gupte has over 20 years of experience in senior financial management positions in state, county and municipal agencies. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California, a licensed Certified Internal Auditor and is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative. She holds Masters degrees in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento and in Economics from the University of Bombay, India. Currently, Sonja is enrolled in the Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning at the University of California, Santa Cruz and is working towards earning her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

     
  Susan Colson received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Wayne State University in Michigan and a MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Santa Clara University. She has also completed the Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program offered by the University of California, Santa Cruz and is licensed in California for Federal and State Personal Income Tax Preparation. Before entering the financial services industry, she was initially employed at a local CPA firm and then held senior financial management positions in several Silicon Valley technology companies. Susan and her husband, Mike, enjoy spending free time with family and traveling.
