Founders Financial Network provides discretionary portfolio management using leading institutional money managers and mutual funds with proven track records. We use multiple managers, which are specialists in each of the different types of investment securities, to build globally diversified investment portfolios.

The core investment for many of our clients is based upon Asset Class Investing, which uses the latest academic research to build portfolios designed to provide market returns with lower volatility. We manage custom portfolios using Institutional Asset Class Funds developed by Dimensional Fund Advisors, a firm that maintains close links with the University of Chicago and other research centers for financial economics. DFA Board Members and consultants include some of the nation's leading financial economists, including Eugene Fama, Kenneth French, Roger Ibbotson, Donald Keim, and Nobel laureates Myron Scholes and Robert Merton.

Dimensional is one of the largest independently owned investment management firms in the world. As of September 30, 2011, they manage $195 billion worldwide. Dimensional does not actively pick stocks or passively track commercial indexes, but instead delivers institutional mutual funds designed to provide asset class returns in a cost-efficient way that adds value over benchmarks and peers. Individual investors can generally only access Dimensional’s funds through a select group of fee-based advisors, such as Founders.
